What we keep and for how long

• Your manuscript and the books we make: stored only so you can download them. They are deleted 24 hours after your book is ready.
• Job record: after deletion we keep a record with the status, formats and page count. It holds no text and no file names.
• Email address, if you ask for a link by email: used only to send you the download link. It is deleted when the email is sent, fails, is cancelled, or the book expires. We keep the time you agreed, the status and the number of attempts.
• Contact messages: your name, email and message, kept so we can reply.

Free tools

The tools run in your browser. The text and files you use there are not sent to our servers.

Logs and monitoring

Our server writes logs with event types, timings, error codes and hashed references. They never contain your text, images, email addresses or the links to your files. Logs are sent to New Relic (data region: to be stated before launch), which processes them for us. We use a privacy-friendly count of events such as "upload started" and "tool opened", with no file content.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary security cookie to protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
